Axinite is KJD's interpretation of the fusion of Amethyst and Squaridot.

Appearance

Axinite has an appearance similar to that of the Crystal Gem Axinite, as they both have four eyes (or would have without having Squaridot’s gemstone covering one eye), dull orange skin, cream hair, and an overall similar body type. She has dull orange skin with three angular eyes with black pupils and bushy eyebrows on the top pair, a small nose and full lips. Her hair is cream colored and is spiky and somewhat boxy in shape. She has four arrms that split at the elbows, a rounded upper body, rounded hips, and two legs with small feet. Her gemstones are on her upper left eye and chest, and are brown in color.

She wears a black shirt with an asymmetrical cream star-like design on the bottom, as well as two pointed shoulder pads with the left one being coffee brown and the other being warm brown. She has a yellow shape on her waist that resembles both a star and a diamond, and her leggings are capris on her right leg with a slit in the end, and shorts on her left leg. They’re brown with warm brown accents on the right leg and warm brown with brown accents on the left leg, and they also wear warm brown boots with yellow toes.

• Axinite is pyroelectric and piezoelectric.

  • Axinite-(Fe) or ferroaxinite, Ca₂Fe²⁺Al₂BOSi₄O₁₅(OH) iron rich, clove-brown, brown, plum-blue, pearl-gray.
  • Axinite-(Mg) or magnesioaxinite, Ca₂MgAl₂BOSi₄O₁₅(OH) magnesium rich, pale blue to pale violet; light brown to light pink.
  • Axinite-(Mn) or manganaxinite, Ca₂Mn²⁺Al₂BOSi₄O₁₅(OH) manganese rich, honey-yellow, clove-brown, brown to blue.
  • Tinzenite, (CaFe²⁺Mn²⁺)₃Al₂BOSi₄O₁₅(OH) iron – manganese intermediate, yellow, brownish yellow-green.
