Black Pearl is an unaligned Gem, and an original character created by KJD.

Appearance[]

Black Pearl has an appearance similar to that of other Pearls, as she is tall and thin with a pointy nose. Her skin is dull purple and she has two black eyes and undefined lips. Her hair is black and is very short. Her gemstone is on her navel and is black.

She wears a black leotard with a cutout at her navel, a short transparent frilled skirt, long black gloves, and black ballet flats with tall dark gray socks.

Personality[]

Black Pearl’s a sweetheart, but a bit of a worrier and suspicious of others intentions - unlike Carbonado, who is always willing to give the benefit of the doubt. She worries that she and Carbonado will be discovered by hostile Gems, but once she develops trust with someone, she'll do anything for them.

She also hates being treated as a lower class servant as she's not used to it. Carbonado treats her as a friend and an advisor, so if anyone makes her feel any less, she'll get a bit irritable.[1]

Abilities[]

Black Pearl possesses standard Gem abilities, bubbling, shapeshifting, fusion, regeneration, agelessness, and superhuman strength/durability.
